Return to Belize

We all got up and had breakfast before entering the park again. We headed to what they call the "Q" group, a set of temples off to the right not far from the entrance but rarely visited. We sat down and talked, then began the ceremony. And just like that we closed the book on Mayan Cosmology. But just because the book is closed does not mean the learning is over, it was time to put it into practice. Taking what I learned from the Mayans past and bringing it into my future.

We got in to our Guatemalan air conditioned van and made a run for the border. Our driver called his friend as we got close to "expedite" our crossing. Once in Belize we got in our van and found that the heater still worked and began our four hour drive back to Belize City. I would stay overnight before catching my flight out the next day.
